Werdhapura Village Center was established in 1968 as an executing agency unit of the training / seminars and prototypes of settlements in the Environment Ministry. PU with the mission of introducing the prototype combination of traditional Balinese architecture buildings that use local building materials with modern touches, in the arrangement of beautiful areas and harmony.
Since 1968 House Tour Werdhapura not only serves as a central provider of information and research centers of building materials for the development of technology and culture, especially traditional Balinese architecture, but also a developer of technology and culture as a demonstration of traditional Balinese tourist building prototypes for the surrounding region.
